Bob is an InvestEd director and instructor. An associate director for the Puget Sound Chapter of BetterInvesting, he teaches at local, regional, and national events, including webinars. Bob creates innovative free spreadsheets and identifies useful websites for streamlining stock research. A member of the online CGAB Alumni Investment Club and past president of a local investment club, he retired after 26 years in radio and television broadcasting and 13 years of college teaching. John is an InvestEd instructor who teaches financial classes and mutual fund workshops at local, regional, and national events. Currently, he is a director of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of BetterInvesting and the treasurer of two investment clubs, including the Centre Region Model Investment Club. Prior to retirement, with advanced degrees in meteorology, John spent 26 years in the Air Force and 16 years as an instructor of meteorology at The Pennsylvania State University.
Sandy is an InvestEd director and volunteer editor. She serves as the InvestEd Inc. secretary, is a member of the curriculum committee, and prepares the general program brochure layout. Sandy is a founding director and the current president of the Coastal Georgia/South Carolina Chapter of BetterInvesting and is a charter member and the current president of a local investment club. She presents introductory investing programs, helps form investment clubs, and teaches stock study classes at local and regional events. Sandy is professor emerita, Georgia Southern University.
Doug is an InvestEd instructor, the founder of StockCentral.com, and the President of ICLUBcentral Inc, maker of tools for investment clubs and individual investors, including Toolkit 6. A popular speaker and investment educator, he is the author of six books, including The Pocket Idiot's Guide to Direct Stock Investing and The Armchair Millionaire. A former editor for Mutual Funds Magazine, currently Doug is the Editor-in-Chief of the Investor Advisory Service, the award-winning market-beating stock newsletter.
Judith is an InvestEd director and its lead editor and writer. She previously taught classes and mentored numerous clubs, and she received the first Kenfield-Burris Award for service to the online investing community. She is a founding member and past secretary of the online CGAB Alumni Investment Club. Judith formerly worked and taught in medical diagnostic and research laboratories. She enjoys a variety of music, theater, film, dance, and reading material.
Brad is an InvestEd instructor, president of Churr Software, author of the Stock Investment Guide (SIG) software, and a founding member of Valley Investment Partners (VIP), an investment club that began in 1990. A rocket scientist in his day job, serving as director of engineering for a government contractor, Brad founded Churr Software to develop stock analysis tools for Mac users, as well as Windows users. He has a BS in electrical engineering and an MS in systems management.
Brian is an InvestEd instructor. A mechanical engineer by trade, Brian joined his first investment club in 1994 and currently is a member of two investment clubs. A Dick Dwyer award recipient, he helped start the computer group of BetterInvesting’s Massachusetts Chapter, served as president, and began teaching with the chapter in 1997. Brian is a volunteer coach, treasurer of the local parent-teacher organization, and often can be found hiking or geocaching in New England with his wife and two children.
