InvestEd Incorporated, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and nurturing an informed community of investors capable of making its own investment decisions, delivers quality education to neophyte, intermediate, and advanced investors through national and local conferences, workshops, and program recordings. While long-term fundamental investing principles are the core of InvestEd programs, alternative investment theories and use of technology facilitate our educational goals.
Values
We place the InvestEd experience at the core of all we do
Conference participants are the reason for our existence. We demonstrate our appreciation of them by providing high quality investment education in the form of classes, reference materials, and personal interaction during and following our annual conference.
We are committed to our community of volunteers
We provide learning opportunities, nurture talent, develop leaders, and recognize achievement. We believe a team of well-trained individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, working together in an environment that fosters respect and drives high levels of engagement, is essential to our continued success.
We believe in sharing our investing knowledge
The three-legged stool of teaching and support staff, vendors and sponsors, and conference participants reflects our operating model and fundamental structure. We learn from the best instructors in the country, learn about the latest software and investing techniques, and willingly share expertise with each other.
We give back to our community
We take seriously the responsibilities that come with being leaders. We help other leaders become better by supporting and empowering them and their constituents to make all investors and the world a better place.
We strive continually to improve
We are a learning organization that aims to anticipate and respond to changing attendee, volunteer, and system needs through constant evolution and innovation. We are committed to ongoing improvement of our educational materials and enthusiastically consider the incorporation of new concepts and methods in investment education.
